Managed decline.
The only time we’re running with a bit of intent, is into the tunnel at half time.
We need to act quickly because there are no green shoots of hope on the pitch.

New signings are crap. Puzzling seeing Pedersen and Tymon praised on here at half time. Both really limited footballers, every time Pedersen tried to do anything other than knock it into a channel he shanked it out of touch or gave it straight to one of their players. Tymon plays like he has two weak feet, always checking back or losing track of the ball. Nothing about either of them suggests we should have spent money to get them in (but we knew that years ago, watching them play like shit for other Championship teams).

Handily beaten by a well-organised team who knew how to expose us in the wide areas, with a single quality creative player who could get them into dangerous positions. Duff has to change something, his single plan is just as duff as Martin's was. Suspect he won't get the 18 months Martin did to fix things.

Knowing this club I think he will, they won't pay him off

McDuff needs to go. NOW! He’s out of his depth. Not getting feckall out of the squad. That said, we still need to improve the player recruitment.

I think getting a manager that might stay a bit AND is of quality is the key here. We need to finally get a cutting edge here. The opponent fearing what we can do can take pressure off the back. We’ve not had that in a long time.

We need another star attacker and a new manager. Otherwise we’ll be lucky to stay up at this rate.

As expected because it happens every season the incoming players and coaches are weaker than the outgoing players and coaches, I really don’t know what the game plan is other than dick around at the back sideways and backwards and then lob a long ball up that’s 50/50 at best.

Let’s be honest lads, we’ve been one of the most progressive clubs on and off the pitch over the last decade, we’re now playing Stone Age football.

Why it can't be seen that we need a outlet out wide and a back 4 is absolutely mind boggling.

If he wants a rigid team then back with 2 holders, a creative 10 and width with a central striker is the way forward.

Duff is toast.

It's a question of when, not if.

He was the wrong pick from the start, totally the wrong fit.

Not entirely his fault - Coleman's the idiot who appointed him with a big fanfare. He should resign after this is sorted out, the clown.

Cardiff weren't even very good. They were just less shite.

What a mess. A complete and total utter mess.

Surely if there’s ever been a time for 4-2-3-1 it’s now?

I’m still struggling to understand how we take off Yates and Lowe for Ginelly and Paterson

No passion, no plan, no panache.

He's not going anywhere in the short term. Piroe loss is going to be hard felt. The quality of our signings is a worry

Lowe and Pedersen can feck off, not sure about Tymon. Oh yes, and Sicknote.
Duff needs to swallow his pride, shake his ideas up and drop the five at the back formation pronto.

Get off Pedersen's back, or at least give him a chance. He played 160 matches for Birmingham so he's not a fool, and at the age of 28 he can bring some maturity to our back line.

Seriously PJ. why did you say that?

He was good first half.

Lazy tackle for pen but it was outside the box

He obviously thought it was going well and a front 2 change was the tweak that was needed.
It's pragmatic prehistoric football that works in the bottom 2 leagues but you need a bit more creativity and class to do something in this league.

Ramsey was allowed to stroll around the pitch as if he owned it - in a derby match FFS.

Unbelievable that none of our players were willing to take a yellow card to welcome him back!!

Tommy Smith must be turning in his grave

No shots on target from the likes of Yates and Lowe says more about the build up and lack of creativity than the strikers themselves, not always, granted, but I have to agree, leagues 1/2 are about duff’s level. Kindly go back there please.
