Zammit Rees

I think Wade went over at 27, so it's an advantage to Rees-Zammit giving it a go at 22. NFL teams may be more willing to develop him when he has more years ahead of him.

Huge challenge though, having not played at High School or College level. The only two foreign players I can think of who've 'made it' without playing at college level are Efe Obada and Jordan Mailata.

Also wonder what position he's hoping to play. Running back would make most sense, but don't see many running backs with his height. Possibly wide receiver or tight end, but they'd take even longer to learn how to play.

He has made the daily news over the pond, albeit in a small way. Tyreek Hill is a wide receiver. NFL teams sometimes utilize pure speed on special teams, particularly the "gunner" role. Matthew Slater has spent his entire career at The Patriots. He is listed as a WR but has hardly played a snap there. His job has been to get to kick offs and punts before the opposition, a tough ask considering he starts behind the ball.

It is incredible to think that a player can make tens of millions of $ by being a punter or kicker on an NFL team. Likely to have zero contact from defence and not even guaranteed a kick during the game.

Good luck to the guy , do not view NFL at all so no way to follow his career over The Pond .

Age on his side , if it all goes pear shaped , back home in 2 Years , Premiership Clubs still interested .

Conspiracy theory methinks , WRU putting a top Welsh player top of Uncle Sams media agenda .
Free advertising for Wales with comments in their Sports Reports that LRZ is a Taffy , he"s great .

Drakeford before he gladly buggers off will claim the WAG has alongside the WRU allowed America to embrace Welsh Sportsmen and Wales ,. Visit Wales :)
