There was an American guy at the Hull game Tyler Morse who claims to be investing in the club, my mate spoke to him at Morgans post game and claimed that big things were being put in place.

Just another “Oprah Winfrey” type investor or is there likley to be any truth to these guys? This is what his profile reads on his company website at MCR Hotels.

Looks like he has started at the bottom and worked his way up so it makes me wonder why would he invest in us?

Tyler Morse is Chairman and CEO of MCR, which comprises three discretionary funds and is the 3rd largest hotel owner-operator in the United States. With $5 billion of assets under management, MCR owns and operates 150 hotels (over 25,000 guestrooms) across 37 states and has developed landmark properties such as the TWA Hotel at JFK Airport.

Prior to founding MCR in 2006, Mr. Morse was the President of Bliss, the upscale spa and beauty products company. He previously served as Assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Barry Sternlicht, and contributed to Starwood’s overall corporate investment and development initiatives. Mr. Morse earned his CPA at Ernst & Young LLP and worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in its Financial Sponsors and Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

Mr. Morse got his start as a baggage handler for Delta Airlines at LAX. He was a ski instructor at Squaw Valley USA in Lake Tahoe and at Termás de Chillán in Chile. At California’s Mammoth Mountain, he was a member of the ski patrol. He also worked as a busboy at the Hard Rock Café in Honolulu, Hawaii, and as a car valet at The Cheesecake Factory in Redondo Beach, California.

Mr. Morse serves on the Board of Directors of NYC & Company, the convention and visitor arm of New York City. He is a member of the Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) Courtyard by Marriott Advisory Board and the Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) Distribution Advisory Committee. He serves on the advisory board of New York University’s Tisch Center of Hospitality and on the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Mr. Morse is an active member of IREFAC, PREA, NAREIT and The Real Estate Roundtable. He serves as a Trustee on the board of Prep for Prep.

Mr. Morse graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and Harvard Business School. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters.

Is he going to wait until after the next transfer window closes before they reveal he’s invested millions and millions, so other teams don’t charge us more for players. Like the last lot done 👀🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is how we work now 😂😂 piss all the money up the wall, hope it will work out. If not look for a new mug to pump a couple million into the team with false promises and rinse and repeat
