The sound (from about 0.75 miles away) was like a (bloody big) balloon popping. A massive BANG that was over in the blink of an eye. I can't begin to imagine the shock folks close to it must be feeling.

That's awful, mate of mine was on site in Mumbles this morning and he heard the explosion from there.
