    spot on Doc..he played round pegs in square holes they fitted but didn't fill the slot..as you say we had that run at the end of last season which his fanboys went on about yet it was achieved with the same players he had had all season despite his mutterings about being let down in the transfer...

    I think your arguement is flawed...despite having that better group of players he has not delivered. bearing in mind Southampton were a PL team last season they have not taken the division by storm....lost to Cardiff last week and to Stoke at home today. I suspect Southampton will dispense...

    it was a lot better than what we saw under Martin 2 issues Cooper was disliked due to his parentage and Cardiff connection Had we been at the stadium is would have been less boring Imagine watching that crap Martin served up at home on the tele with no crowd....     Spot on post......now I believe in Luke he was my suggestion when Martin left us let's hope he gets performances like yesterday for the rest of the season. The atmosphere was great so we fans need to replicate that for the remaining home matched especially as we still need points to guarantee...

    agree the formation change had an effect...many of his critics suggested Martin should revert to a flat 4...he had done so on occasions before with sucees but reverted to his favoured set up when he had got himself out of trouble. You keep banging on about that 10 game run achieved as a result...
