Re: George Byers

I think he was the one sacrificed when a first half sending off forced a tactical change.

Re: Piroe - Sell or Keep?

I don't hear any transfer chatter, none whatsoever. No smoke without fire and all that so I assume that he will still be with us into September.

Do you hear anything, Risc?

Re: Piroe - Sell or Keep?

Honestly, there’s some crap on here, sell last years top scorer just because he hasn’t hit the ground running yet…madness. There's another argument which is sell him to re-invest. And before anyone throws back a statement that includes 'Yanks' and 'invest' in the same sentence, I am not talking abo...

Re: England v South Africa

To add, there's something very predictable about a single digit score from an England Test opener.

Re: England v South Africa

I am in the third of three weeks off. We've done the holiday away, I am pretty much finished with the list of odd jobs assigned to me, and we have exhausted the option of a daily pub lunch. I am therefore in front of the telly today.

I wholeheartedly agree with the comment about proper cricket.

Why not?
I just won't, not interested one bit, I keep track of my usage and monitor the usage myself.
Via your bills? It’s too late then. The smart meter will give you instant feedback.

I'd never have a smart meter, not a chance in hell.

Why do we look so tired at the end Millwall we're full of running
Our closing down for crosses is pathetic
We don’t have anyone vocal enough to drive the right mentality for 90 minutes plus injury time.

It’s not tiredness. We’re less than a month into the season and we had four subs on.

Re: 22/23 The Official Swansea v Millwall Match Thread

Yep…. People slagging our game management off. I thought our game management was spot on for 90 mins… we didn’t look troubled then we concede a silly on goal (got to get closer to the man to stop the cross). Game management lasts until the end of the game not 90 minutes. Quite right. Our game manag...

We didn't
We did. Joe Allen was outstanding, Ntcham the same. We’re all just a bit flat after the ending, understandably so.

Re: Energy affordability crisis

I hope you all have smart meters, if you don’t then ask your provider for one. You are likely to have a surprise at how your electricity (in particular) consumption racks up. I’m home and off work this week and have made umpteen requests to get out of the shower, shut the fridge door, wash the dishe...

Re: 22/23 The Official Swansea v Millwall Match Thread

An interesting post game press conference awaits.

Once again our soft underbelly is exposed. We haven’t got a warrior type character, either on the pitch or on the sideline. A point snatched from the jaws of three.
