Re: Euro 2020 Thread

A draw with the Czechs will see England finish second and get an easier draw than winning the group bizarrely. They would avoid Portugal, France or Germany and instead get the runners up of Group E, so it would be one of Spain, Sweden, Poland or Slovakia. As long as Spain don't cock it up, that's a...

Re: Swans close in on Henry transfer?

There's a difference between spending the club's money and investing their own money. There's no evidence they've put in any money other than the loan from Silverstein (similar to the previous loans from Martin Morgan). Anyone saying they don't spend money hasn't been paying attention. We've spent ...

Re: Euro 2020 Thread

As much as I love my football, I think I'll give this one a miss this afternoon  Games like this one are usually the best for entertainment, going for a 2-2, 3-2 classic With a disallowed goal for North Macedonia and a missed penalty for Ukraine, you came very close with this one Skippy! It se...

Re: Euro 2020 Thread

3-0 Italy. Switzerland would require a 5 goal swing in the final games to pip us to second place. Not impossible given how good Italy look and how poor Turkey are playing, but makes it more difficult for Switzerland.

That Leicester bloke is their best player by a long way imo (the defender).
Aye, he's class. It was pretty funny that Leicester got £80m from Man U for Maguire, knowing they had a younger and better player ready to come in who had cost them just £18m the season before.

Re: Euro 2020 Thread

I saw Iwan Roberts suggested that Bale and Ramsey were both lucky to be picked for this game. What a f**king clown. They were both under-par in the first game but a side with limited resources like us do not drop two of our best players. Bale's pass for the goal is the kind of thing he needs to conc...

If we were a threat we’d be out of sight by now. Turkey will stroll it in second half.

Re: Euro 2020 Thread

Their defenders look like they're shitting themselves to me, especially when Dan is running at them. Need to score the first goal though. It doesn't help when Ramsey is blowing chances... Shitting themselves? They haven’t even put it in gear yet. They are not bothered in the slightest. They've give...

Once again its looking like our only hope is a goal from bale, a free kick
We'd have 2 goals from open play if Ramsey had his shooting boots on?

Re: Euro 2020 Thread

Wales threatening without actually looking dangerous. Turkey not too bothered by us. Reckon we’ll lose this 3-0. Re: Cooper speaks to Palace

Lampard will do well to find another decent gig too... I dunno. He hasn't disgraced himself in any job yet. Did well enough at Derby and plenty of managers have been used up under Abramovich. He'll get another job soon, although he may have to drop down to the Championship to get it. Wonder if he's...
