Couple of nice additions to the league next season for away days in Derby and Portsmouth. Never managed to do Fratton Park, so would love to tick it off the list, but whereabouts else do people 'target' as priorities for next season?
Couple of fairly unremarkable grounds leaving us too in...
From a somewhat selfish point of view, wouldn't mind Birmingham staying up as it's one of our closer away days. By that metric, hope Huddersfield and Blackburn go down.
(My serious prediction is Brum and Huddersfield, so half of my troublesome two)
Don't care if I'm in a minority, but this is a good thing. He's a good/great defender at this level, young, and pretty valuable. People will moan about him stopping and putting his foot on the ball, but then neglect how well he gets us out of tight spaces or breaks the press by running with the ball
Think this is pretty much spot on as to what we need, and hopefully, what will happen.
Our defence is a bit odd, as on paper, Key - Darling - Wood - Tymon is a really solid, young back four, but we conced goals like there's no tomorrow so something should change. Agree that LW will keep...
Even more annoyingly with Yates is that he flirts with being the first type of player. He clearly knows where to move, regularly gets half chances and positions himself well, but absolutely cannot finish for toffee. So many times this season I've thought 'Yates did well to reach that', but he'll...
You're not the first person I've seen who thought Key was shocking today, but I didn't notice him being poor at all. That run through the middle was more exciting than literally every other moment of the game, and I thought he looked promising when overlapping, had loads of success for the first...
Thought he was good in the first half tbf, Key and him linked up a few times, particularly remember a lovely dink over the top to put Ronald in. Second half he was anonymous, but so was absolutely everyone apart from Wood, Darling, and Tymon
Think it's understandable that we're considered underdogs today. Wednesday aren't a relegation battling team, their start to the season under Xisco was so utterly shambolic that they've effectively started 10 games behind. Since Rohl joined, they've been 9th in the league.
Add into that how...
Watching the Fans Forum gave off the implication that the recruitment department nigh on didn't exist until 6 months ago, which is pretty embarrasing for a club of our size. If true, it's encouraging that the new changes have led to Ronald and Placheta coming in (one better than the other...
Channeling the thoughts above, but Luke is such an enormously likable bloke. Knows completely and utterly what it means to be here, values the Swansea Way as highly as results, and is entirely down to earth.
I would absolutely adore for him to take us to the next level
