The first piece of business in the transfer window by the Swans has been completed with the club confirming that the striker has joined on a loan deal for the rest of the season after a similar deal fell through at the last minute back in the summer.
Whittaker has been a very much bit part player this season despite a hat-trick earlier this season against Plymouth in the Carabao Cup.
He leaves the Swans after five goals in twenty-two appearances having joined the club from Derby this time last year.
He was scheduled to move to Lincoln on loan at the end of the summer window but the deal was never completed and it has been widely speculated that he would move in January and it is good to see both clubs completing the business early doors in the new window.
