Home First Team Transfer Rumours Lincoln City set to make Morgan Whittaker move again

Lincoln City set to make Morgan Whittaker move again

Morgan Whittaker looked set to join Lincoln City during the summer transfer window but it never moved to a completed deal at the very last moment.

Since than – a Carabao Cup hat-trick apart – chances have been very limited for the striker at Swansea and he looks certain to be making a move in January almost certainly on loan although the possibility of a permanent deal should not be completely dismissed.

This has alerted Lincoln again to the possibility of completing the transfer that they missed out on when unable to complete a loan deal back in August.

Football League World is reporting Lincoln’s interest and quoting Michael Appleton as saying, when asked about a Whittaker move “We will if we think there’s an opportunity for it to happen.

“But, at the same time, we’re not going to put ourselves in a position where we might lose out.”

Whittaker did not travel to Barnsley last night with the Swans – a game that we won 2-0.
