Swans close in on Henry transfer?

Reports in France this evening say that the Swans are closing in on a move for Thomas Henry, a striker formerly of Nantes.

Henry scored 21 goals in 31 appearances and was the second leading scorer in the Belgian League last season and was targetted by the Swans as the ideal replacement for Andre Ayew.

The reports suggest that talks are still ongoing between the club and player but it is suggested that a move to South Wales is getting closer.

Henry was bought for £450,000 from Tubize in 2019 but he is now valued considerably higher with interest mounting from Germany and Turkey with Besiktas linked in recent months.

  1. Bit more like it. Other strikers we’re linked with have only average strike rates in less competitive leagues. At least this boy is prolific.
