Lowe scores on Jamaican debut

There is probably more than just a hint of irony that Jamal Lowe has finally broken his barren run in front of goal but it was not for the Swans but on his international debut for Jamaica.

Lowe’s goal ultimately was in vain as the Reggae Boyz were beaten 4-1 by the USA in the match which was played in Austria.

Jamal grabbed his goal in the 70th minute to halve the two goal deficit that the USA had built up but he then had to watch as Jamaica conceded two more goals in the last seven minutes of the game to complete a comprehensive win.

Lowe was replaced two minutes after his goal but the good news for the Swans could be that he is a confidence player and scoring could send him on another one of those runs that we saw before Christmas and if he gets back amongst the goals then maybe it could be te catalyst to our fortunes overturning

Was involved with the Swans Supporters Trust from 2005, for the large part as Chairman before standing down in the summer of 2020.
